SWITCHLESS distributor Microtalk is looking to increase the appeal of its channel proposition by offering resellers a free white label billing platform. The new system has been launched ahead of a new wholesale-only venture from the company, called MTNetwork, due to be announced on the 1st May. The billing platform has been developed in-house and works with all of Microtalk's current products. It includes direct API connects to carrier platforms and can handle tariff design and invoice generation, as well as blocking calls on overdue accounts.

“A lot of resellers are being charged between four and five percent for billing,” says Microtalk's Sales Director, Paul Havel. “We're not going to charge them just to run the invoices for them. Because this is our own system, if a reseller wants to integrate it with a system they're currently using, so long as there's an XML feed or an API we can customise it for them. I think this is very important to our resellers. It gives them more control over their accounts and increases their profitability.”
